The "Strict" Deadlines

Switzerland is famous for its rules. The two most important dates you cannot miss are:

Registration (14 Days): You must register at your local Kreisbüro within 14 days of landing. Before you start working.
Health Insurance (3 Months): You have a 3-month grace period, but you must be insured by day 90. If you miss this, the canton will assign you a (very expensive) default plan.
